CBS PEWOSA is a community driven initiative dedicated to transforming livelihoods through financial inclusion, sustainable enterprise, and collective empowerment.

What is PEWOSA?

CBS RADIO established in 1996 has a corporate mission of transforming communities through local enterprise initiatives. NSINDIKA NJAKE CBS PEWOSA DEVELOPMENT & FINANCIAL INITIATIVES was registered as a company limited by Guarantee (2013) and tasked the mandate of delivering the mission through community expanded business development services.

THE CBS PEWOSA TRADE FAIR
PEWOSA is an initiative of CBS Radio instituted to target local communities’ social economic development propelled by financial literacy and local business development models. Local communities are guided to channel savings to micro business start up investments. The annual CBS PEWOSA TRADE FAIR is the key business enabler.

Our History

Founded with the vision to foster economic growth and resilience within Buganda, PEWOSA began as a small initiative to empower local communities through financial literacy. Over the years, it has burgeoned into a robust network, mobilizing thousands of members and establishing numerous SACCOs. Through decades of dedication, PEWOSA has pioneered sustainable financial solutions, consistently adapting to the economic landscape while staying true to its core mission of uplifting the hard-working Ugandan.
